At Randolph Community College’s Agribusiness Technology program, we don’t just grow crops—we grow individuals who are ready to stand out in the agriculture industry.

Whether you’re interested in business, production, or innovation in ag, there’s a place here for you to bloom.

🌱🔬 Hands-On Learning in Soil Science! 🔬🌱
Students in the Agribusiness Technology Program at Randolph Community College are getting their boots dirty and learning the importance of proper soil sampling!
Soil sampling is the first step to smart nutrient management. Our students practiced:
✅ Collecting representative soil cores
✅ Proper sampling depth and technique
✅ Creating composite samples
✅ Understanding soil test reports
✅ Making fertilizer and lime recommendations
Why does it matter? Because accurate soil sampling leads to better crop yields, improved soil health, and cost-effective fertilizer use. 🌾💧
In agriculture, everything starts from the ground up — and our students are learning how to manage it the right way!

Well that’s a wrap for AGR-111. I have to say this is one of my favorite classes to teach because of all the neat things we get to learn and do. Spring registration starts in less than a week for current students!
