Looking for something fun to do tonight? Come to the **Small Business Showcase at the Ashby Free Public Library from 5–7 p.m.** and discover something exciting happening right here in our community!
🛍️ **Shop local!** Meet small business owners, explore their products and services, and get a head start on your Christmas shopping.
👕 **Show your Ashby pride!** We'll have Ashby T-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants available to benefit the Ashby Evergreen Charter School effort. Mostly kids' sizes, with some adult sizes, too!
🌲 **Parents, come meet Ashby Evergreen!** We're working to create a new public charter school inspired by the Finnish forest school tradition, where children are treated as individuals, outdoor exploration is part of learning, and every child has the opportunity to become a confident, compassionate, and capable learner.
Imagine a school where curiosity matters, children have room to explore their interests, teachers are trusted professionals, and families are genuine partners in education.
We're working toward a fall 2027 opening, subject to charter approval, and the excitement is growing FAST!
In just two weeks since receiving an invitation to submit our final charter application, we've received **111 intent-to-enroll forms** and approximately **80 offers to display yard signs**!
