In all honesty, I’ve been there more times than I can count. There have been seasons where I knew God was inviting me forward, but instead of moving, I questioned myself. I worried about the outcome. I waited for things to feel clearer or easier.

What I’ve learned is that God doesn’t always remove the obstacle first. Often, He asks us to take the step with Him, not after everything feels safe.

This isn’t about beating ourselves up or feeling like we've fallen short. Growth doesn’t come from shame. It comes from awareness, grace, and gently realigning with truth. Truth that reminds us we’re not walking alone. Truth that invites us out of comfort and into deeper trust.

If you feel that quiet pull toward something more, but you’re also feeling unsure, let me reassure you...you are not behind. You’re not failing.

You may simply be standing at the edge of growth and that’s often where God meets us and does some of His most meaningful work.

I have been working on a new project for 2026 that I am so excited about. It is a workbook I have designed to help women move from comfort to calling.

I am putting the finishing touches on it and cannot wait to share it. The workbook will be filled with step-by-step guidance, reflection questions, and creative tools to guide you out of your comfort zone and into your calling.

Here’s a sneak peek inside the workbook. The first tool is the Calling Clarity Map, a guided reflection created to help you uncover who God made you to be and what He is calling you into. This visual experience invites you to explore the clues God has already placed in your life, including:

• What lights you up
• What breaks or burdens your heart
• The people or causes you are drawn to
• What you have personally overcome
• Your unique strengths and gifts

Upon completing the Calling Clarity Map, you will create your Calling Clarity Statement, which you will use to guide you through the rest of the workbook. It is going to be transformational and life-changing.

Did you know your comfort zone can disguise itself as “wisdom”?

Sometimes we tell ourselves we’re “being wise” by waiting, planning, or praying longer. In reality, we’re just afraid to move forward.

Growth often requires movement before full clarity. Wisdom includes preparation, yes. But it also includes obedience and faith.
God often reveals the next step as we walk, not before.

Am I avoiding this out of wisdom...or out of worry?
