Founded in 1972, with the desire to provide a spirit-filled Christian education to families in the community.

Originally established as Jesus Center School, renamed Faith Christian Academy in 1989 under the Faith Bible Chapel umbrella. April Yeager, Faith Alumni 2001: With the recent changes in public education, my husband and I see now more than ever the value and importance of a Christian education for our children. We place emphasis on our children’s education being biblically-based as young minds are impressionable and need a Christ-centered environment for their learning. Our oldest daughter is in Sonshine’s center pre-k class. We love that her teacher is able to weave God and the Bible into her learning, pray in school, and learn Bible verses.

My husband and I both attended Faith from elementary through high school. When reflecting on our time there, we realize the impact it had on our faith we profess today. We have numerous positive memories from our time at Faith. From the classroom to athletic activities, the staff’s focus was always to point our eyes back to Christ. Socially, being surrounded by peers who shared my same convictions and faith was invaluable as I navigated high school. Faith helped support and provide an environment for my faith to grow and prepared me for the next steps in life. My husband and I are looking forward to our three children attending Faith.

Jordan McCaslin, pastor at Red Rocks Church-Arvada campus, 2003 FCHS alumni and son of FCHS Bible teacher, Charissa McCaslin: ”I can still remember my favorite Christmas from about 25 years ago like it was yesterday...

Me and my two brothers were 11, 10, and 8 and had been bitten by the snowboarding bug, bad. It was literally all we talked about and all we wanted for Christmas, but the cost was going to be tough. Having a dad as a pastor and a mom as a Christian schoolteacher, the odds seemed stacked against us. And, to top it off, my parents did the put-all-the-presents-but-the-snowboards-under-the-tree-and-hide-the-snowboards-somewhere-else trick, so Christmas morning felt like a jumble of emotions... Pumped for some gifts, but also super sad about the snowboards.

And then, when it seemed like it was all over, my dad had us run down to the basement for something and we found the stash of snowboards. And we absolutely lost our minds. I think we may have even shed some tears... Hands-down one of the best mornings of my young life! =)”
