North Arvada Middle School

Jeffco's middle school Battle of the Books was yesterday. Our North Arvada team, the Mac'n'Cheesies, competed and did a fantastic job! They placed third in the district! The effort our team put in all year long was impressive - they should be proud of their hard work and their battle!

A huge thank you to all the businesses who supported our North Arvada teachers this week with their generous donations! You helped make our week special!

This teacher appreciation week, North Arvada is the place to be!!! We have been pampered all week long by our admin, North Arvada Middle School PTSA and community. Thank you for the outpouring of love, appreciation, and lots and lots of treats, games, and laughs.

Are you planning on joining us for Bingo and Pizza on March 10th? You should! All our students and their families are invited for free pizza, bingo games, prizes, and fun! 5-7 pm in the North Arvada cafeteria.

Registration is now open for North Arvada's soccer and track teams! No experience required. Sign up by March 13th. Find all the details at northarvada.org.

Tonight is our second night of spring parent-teacher conferences. Most of these conferences are by invitation, but some of them are open house style tonight. Our electives teachers, some of our math teachers, and our GT teachers are available this evening for open house drop in conferences from 4:30-7:30pm.

It's time for our annual pumpkin decorating contest! Students and staff are invited to decorate a pumpkin to look like a book character. Drop off finished pumpkins in the NAMS library on 10/24 or 10/27. Voting will take place Oct 27-30 and pumpkins will go home on 10/30 or 10/31.

Our first Book Breakfast Club meeting was great - we had donuts & scones and discussed Fallout. Our next meeting is on October 28th, at 7:45am in the NAMS library. The book is A First Time for Everything by Dan Santat. It's a graphic novel, so you still have time to get started and join us!
