The Pomona Performing Arts Department proudly presents Alice by Heart — a powerful and imaginative musical you won’t want to miss — running March 5, 6, and 7 at 7:00 PM at Pomona Jr/Sr High School.
Set in the heart of London during the devastation of World War II, the story follows Alice and her best friend Alfred as they seek hope and light in the darkness of war. As Alfred battles tuberculosis, Alice turns to her favorite book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, escaping down the rabbit hole into a world of imagination. There, beloved characters like the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and the Caterpillar spring to life in a journey that is whimsical, heartfelt, and deeply moving.
Blending humor, fantasy, and raw emotion, Alice by Heart is a celebration of friendship, courage, and the healing power of storytelling. This visually stunning and emotionally resonant production promises to entertain, inspire, and stay with you long after the final bow.

The Pomona Performing Arts Department is proud to present Alice By Heart on March 5, 6, and 7th at 7pm at Pomona Jr/Sr High. It's the story of Alice and her best friend, Alfred, who live in London during the bombings of early World War II. Alfred is dying of tuberculosis. Alice deals with Alfred's impending death and the ravages of war by going down the rabbit hole in her favorite book, Alice in Wonderland. With characters, such as the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, caterpillars and more, this show is sure to entertain and touch your heart, too.
