What a day for the Tiger Pride Band! 🐯🎶

Saturday, we traveled to Mineola for the Iron Horse Marching Classic, and our students gave us so many reasons to be proud.

Out of all the bands in attendance (2A-6A), the Tiger Pride Band placed 5th and advanced to the finals! But as proud as we are of that accomplishment, what impressed us most was everything our students did throughout the entire day.

It rained the entire time. 🌧️

And through it all, our students were absolutely fantastic. They performed with energy and pride, listened carefully, responded quickly to instructions, took care of one another, and represented Arp ISD and our community incredibly well. They faced a challenging day with a great attitude and never let the weather take away from what they came to do.

And of course, we can’t forget the FOOD😋! Our students were treated to two incredible meals from B’s, which was definitely a highlight of the day!

A HUGE shoutout to our Arp Tiger Pride Band Boosters! ❤️

Despite the rain, our boosters served our students two meals, helped move equipment to and from performances, and did whatever was needed to make sure our students were taken care of. That kind of support means more than we can put into words.

The directors could not be more pleased with the incredible young people in this program and the amazing support system surrounding them.

We are so proud to be part of the Tiger Pride Family. The talent, work ethic, character, and support within this program is something special, and it is a privilege to watch these students continue to grow.

Thank you to our students, parents, boosters, administrators, staff, and the entire Arp community for believing in the Tiger Pride Band.

THREE WEEKS AWAY FROM COMPETITION: How's our show coming along folks? We had fun performing our halftime show in Timpson Friday, and seeing 🐅🏈 defeat the Bears 58-25.
The region contest is Saturday, Oct. 17 in Hallsville.
