Have a blast learning, growing, singing, and playing! Contact [email protected] or read more at w My name is Laura Vecchione. Warm regards,
Laura V.
I am a professional vocalist, songwriter, voice over actor, and long time music educator. I have been teaching voice and beginning piano, guitar and music theory to kids, teens and adults for fifteen years. Some of the most frequent and meaningful feedback I get when people walk into my studio is, "I feel so safe here! You really help boost my confidence," or "I can tell you really care about my c
hild." To me, the starting point of growth is accepting where we are with compassion and trusting that from there, exciting possibilities open up! I would love to help you or your child with your musical goals. As an independent artist, I have toured the country in support of my studio CDs (available on iTunes and CD Baby links at www.LauraVmusic.com.). My music has been playlisted on radio stations nationwide and many of my songs have been featured on national television and in independent films. I am a Barnard graduate, and I hold a Master of Education from NYU, as well as a certificate from the Berklee College of Music. I studied voice at The Manhattan School of Music, The Singer’s Forum, and the Boston Conservatory. One of m students recently said, "You have the gift of singing, but you also have the gift of teaching." While I love connecting with an audience through song, it is an equal joy for me to help my students find and connect with their true sound. I believe that singing has a deeper purpose from mere entertainment, and that when it is expressed in its authenticity, singing can be healing for both audience and singer. From my studio in Watertown, MA, via Skype, or in private homes, students have an opportunity to explore the depth and range of their vocal and musical ability in a safe, nurturing environment. I believe that strong vocal technique allows us freedom of expression in whatever our preferred musical style. Contact me for lessons, schedule, and rates at [email protected].
