We had one ☀️HAPPY☀️ Teacher Appreciation Week at Dunn Elementary, and it was absolutely unforgettable!
From a refreshing Hydration Bar with our amazing friends at Once Upon A Coconut, to legendary breakfast tacos with the Dunn Dudes, to a delicious catered lunch generously provided by the outstanding agents at Horace Mann, our teachers and staff were showered with appreciation all week long.
And that was just the beginning.
Our ✨LEGENDARY✨ snack cart kept the treats rolling, Stock the Lounge turned the faculty lounge into a treasure trove of snacks and drinks, and our wildly popular “Do You Have a Dragon?” game brought laughter, surprises, and a little friendly dragon-hunting competition to every corner of the school.

Most importantly, our incredible educators felt what we hope they always know: they are deeply valued, fiercely supported, and tremendously loved.
As we race toward the finish line of another school year, we hope every Dunn family has had the chance to thank the teachers and staff who pour so much heart, energy, and dedication into caring for our children each and every day.

To our Dunn educators: You are the magic behind the learning, the calm in the chaos, and the heart of our school. We are grateful for you—not just this week, but every single day. ❤️🐉🍎✨

Your students will love diving into hands-on STEM challenges and building big with the Imagination Playground (thanks to Arlington Parks Department!)

While they explore, parents can pop into the library for our General PTA Meeting—quick but important as we elect next year’s board and share helpful STAAR info.

These incredible individuals have gone above and beyond for our students, staff, and school community, and we are so grateful for the lasting impact they’ve made.

We were also especially proud to celebrate our very own Rob Bahena as an ACOPTA Lifetime Award recipient—creator of the Dunn Dudes, a favorite volunteer, and an all-around great guy. We’re lucky to have him as part of our Dunn family! 👏

Founders Day is always a special reminder of the power of PTA and the difference we can make when we work together for every child. It was an honor to celebrate alongside other Arlington ISD PTAs and recognize those who truly embody the spirit of service.
