During our 7th and 8th grade ceremonies we were proud to celebrate our students who received the Principal’s Award! We recognized 7th graders Lauren Duffey and Jackson Williams! We recognized 8th graders Nesmah Adawi and Jason Truong! 🎉
This special recognition honors students who consistently demonstrate leadership, kindness, responsibility, respect, and strong character both inside and outside the classroom. These students exemplifying these values and serving as positive role models for their peers.

Tonight’s 8th Grade Awards Ceremony was such a special celebration of an incredible group of students. We were honored to recognize our students for their hard work, character, leadership, and accomplishments throughout the year, while also celebrating each and every 8th grader as they prepare for graduation and the exciting journey ahead.
A special thank you to the teachers who poured into these students daily and helped make tonight meaningful through their recognition and encouragement. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.
We are also deeply grateful to Cornerstone Church for so generously allowing us to use their beautiful space for this event. Your support and hospitality helped make the evening possible, and we truly appreciate your partnership with our students and school community.

Tonight’s Seventh Grade Awards Ceremony was a wonderful celebration of hard work, achievement, and dedication! 🎉
We are so proud of all of our students who were recognized for their accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom. Your perseverance, growth, and commitment to excellence have truly shined throughout the year.

We also proudly celebrated Mrs. Wyrick for her 5 years of service. Mrs. Rodriguez for being named our Knight Paraprofessional of the Year! We are so grateful for the amazing people who make our school community stronger each and every day. 💙

Dear Howard Families,
This is just a polite reminder...All eighth-grade students and their families are cordially invited to attend the T.A. Howard Eighth Grade Award Ceremony, where we will recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of our eighth-grade scholars. All students will be awarded a certificate, and those earning special honors will be formally recognized.
The event will take place on Tuesday, May 19, at 6:00 pm at Cornerstone Church, located at 5415 Matlock Road, Arlington, TX 76018. Students are requested to arrive by 5:30 pm to ensure proper seating arrangements. Parents arriving early with their students are welcome to be seated in the sanctuary.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring students are dressed appropriately for the occasion. For further details, please refer to the attached flyer.

Dear Howard Families,
This is just a polite reminder...The T.A. Howard 7th Grade Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 18, at 6:00 pm in the TAH Gymnasium. This event will honor the achievements and accomplishments of our students. Attendance is by invitation only. Students have been notified if they are receiving an award. Please verify with your scholar whether they have received an invitation.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring students are dressed appropriately for the occasion. Parking is available on the sides and rear of the school; please enter through the back entrance to the gym. Students are requested to arrive by 5:45 pm to ensure proper seating arrangements.

Field Day fun continued in the gym today! Students enjoyed an exciting afternoon of student vs. student and student vs. staff games filled with energy, teamwork, and lots of school spirit. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success!
