Students and Parents,

Lamar HS is hosting a parent night for all current 8th-grade students. The meeting will be filled with important need-to-know information about Lamar, high school, credits, etc. Be early to get a great seat; you don't want to miss out.

Date: Tuesday, Jan. 27th

Time: 6:30- 7:30 pm

Place: Lamar HS cafeteria

On Wednesday, Jan. 28th, the Lamar counselors will visit with the 8th graders during their Science class to finalize their 9th-grade course requests.

Parents, please arrive by 12:15 PM and line up by the back covered patio near the cafeteria. Bring your posters, balloons, flowers, and Mustang spirit to cheer on our amazing 8th graders as they take their final walk through the halls of Nichols. Let’s give them a celebration to remember!

Preschool vibes

Every morning, my students head straight to our High Five Reviews. Right now, we have one for the letter of the week and another for syllables. I switch them out based on the skills we’re focusing on—next week, it might be numbers or rhyming. They press a button to hear the skill, repeat it, and then high-five the hand, making it a true Orton–Gillingham multisensory experience. You can find these at preschoolvibes.com!
