We are thrilled to celebrate our Texas Academy Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year Award Recipient on this NDTR Day!

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recognizes the professional contributions of nutrition and dietetics technicians and encourages their continued participation in the community and Academy activities. Award recipients are selected by their affiliated dietetic organizations. They demonstrate leadership qualities and performance in the Academy or their employment through education, clinical nutrition, foodservice management, public relations, career guidance and legislation.

Claudette shared, "If there is one thing I could accomplish as a NDTR, it would be to know that I improved the lives and health outcomes for millions of people."

Claudette's most proud accomplishments include:
-Cultural Awareness Initiative development and launch for the members of the 13 counties we serve in Texas
-Nutrition Policy
-Dietitians for Christ
-Medical Nutrition Therapy Education Leader
-Supervising a great team for JPS Hospital Patient Meal Services

Event Kickoff: Monday, November 13th. You may pick up your race shirts between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at the TCC Southeast Campus breezeway (between ESEE AND ESCT buildings) or opt for shipping to your home during payment.

For those interested in joining, we will walk as a group on the Southeast campus track on Monday, 10/23. Please meet us at the Breezeway at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to join!
