A few years ago, while we were on a family vacation in Florida, my then 2-year-old nephew, Robert, fell into the pool fully clothed, while no one was watching.

There were 5 adults present, and he took everyone by surprise when he spontaneously launched himself into the pool, excited to swim.

I jumped in fully clothed to snag him as he sank like a rock to the bottom.

It was at that moment that I realizedā€”I didnā€™t just want to save kids from drowning. I want to teach them the essential swim skills to save themselves.

This reel was from a family vacation a few years backā€”playing, splashing, and swimming together.
