We are celebrating Sankt Martinstag this Saturday, November 8, 2025! This is a unique German celebration to commemorate the legend and good deeds of Sankt Martin of Tours.

Students, families, and friends of all ages are invited to a morning of crafting, singing, parading and learning all about this cultural event.

To add to the fun, we are also welcoming the students of the German Club of Burlington Central High School to help us with the lanterns and celebrate this special tradition!

Event schedule:
9:30 am- Student drop off

10:30 am-Singing starts in the Hallway, all students, families, and guests are invited to participate as student go "door to door" singing for treats

Afterwards, everyone can follow Sankt Martin to the church sanctuary for more festivities, including treats and cocoa in the fellowship hall.

We look forward to celebrating with you!

Happy October! 🍂 It may be the end of the Oktoberfest season 🥨 , but it's never too late to practice your German over some food and a beer! 🍻 Come join us for our monthly Stammtisch, which takes place every second Thursday at a different brewery or restaurant in the northwest suburbs of Chicago!

This Thursday, October 10th, we'll be meeting at Schnell's Brauhaus in Palatine at 6:30pm. We can't wait to see you!

Don't forget to sign up, our first days are Saturday, September 7th (9:30 am to 12 pm) and Monday, September 9th (5:45 pm to 8:15 pm). Classes for all ages!

Regular registration period begins August 16th.
