Iโve saved this picture for a long time because it means so much more to me than just the words on it. โค๏ธ
Every time I look at this little child sitting in the pot, it takes me back to when I was little. My dad used to put me in a pot like this and bathe me. And whenever it rained, I would ask him to put me outside in it so I could shower and play in the rain. I remember being so happy with something so simple.
Sometimes I wish I could turn back timeโฆ not to change anything, but just to be that little girl again for one day. To sit in that pot, feel the rain, and see my dad again. โค๏ธ
Maybe thatโs why this quote touches me so much. As we get older, we spend so much time working, wanting more, and thinking about whatโs next. But some of the richest moments of our lives are actually the simplest ones. We just donโt always realize how precious they are until they become memories.
I still have dreams and goals, and Iโll always keep dreaming. But I never want to be so busy chasing the next thing that I forget to appreciate the life I have right now.
