Arkville Head Start

Arkville Head Start Head Start is a federally funded program for children ages 3-5 and their families. Arkville Head Start is one of 9 sites operated by Delaware Opportunities Inc.

In addition to education, health services, disability and family support services, there are opportunities for parent participation in a variety of activities. We are located at 6 Frank Street in Arkville NY (the end of the street, behind the Delaware and Ulster Railroad). We are a free program that is available for children ages 3-5. Our comprehensive program promotes school readiness, helps chil

dren form friendships and provide 2 nutritious meals (breakfast and lunch) and 1 snack per day. We are always taking applications for program enrollment through myheadstart.com, visit this website- go to "parents" and it will take you right to a pre-application! If you prefer a paper application delivered or mailed to you please call the center, we have an answering machine so feel free to call "after Hours" but be sure to leave us your contact information included on the message.
