The Interschool Council along with other school and community organizations, is hosting a forum with candidates for the Lower Merion School District Board of Directors election on October 9, 2025, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Students from the Lower Merion and Harriton High School debate teams will moderate the non-partisan forum. The community is invited to watch the forum in person at the Harriton High School Auditorium or online via Harriton TV (https://youtube.com/HarritonTV/live).

It has been decided and voted on unanimously that The Lower Merion Township Federation of Civic Associations adopt and present the following resolution to the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners and elected officials of the Commonwealth.

RESOLUTION
The Federation of Lower Merion Township Civic Associations strongly supports public transportation and joins the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners and others in petitioning elected officials of the Commonwealth for a bipartisan commitment to a reliable, safe, long term and sustainable solution to avoid SEPTA’s proposed devastating cuts to public transportation.
