We are a group of civically-minded locals who feel passionately about putting their principles into action and making a difference in our community. We can connect you with a myriad of ways to get involved. Our goal is to work with local organizations to foster a sense of community and connectedne

ss among the citizens of Lower Merion, Narberth, and the people who serve them. Whether your focus is our public schools, getting people to the polls, doing the hard work necessary to improve race relations in our community, disability issues, LGBTQ issues, women’s health, or whatever your local passion is, we want to work with you and point you in the right direction. We are people with jobs and lives who understand that the problems this community is facing are too big for any one person, or even one group, to tackle alone.

Summer vacations are here, and while you're planning your getaway, make sure your home is prepared before you leave.

The Lower Merion Township Police Department recommends taking a few simple steps to help keep your property safe while you're away:
Lock all doors and windows
Use timers for lights, radios, or TVs to make your home appear occupied
Pause mail and newspaper deliveries
Ask a trusted neighbor or friend to keep an eye on your property
Avoid posting vacation plans on social media until you return

Take Advantage of Our Vacant House Program
Residents leaving town for an extended period can register their home with the Lower Merion Township Police Department's Vacant House Program. Officers will conduct extra patrol checks of your property while you're away, providing added peace of mind during your travels.

To learn more or register your home, visit:
www.lowermerion.org/departments/police-department/services/vacant-house-program-form

Have a safe and enjoyable vacation and let us help keep your home secure while you're away.

Be careful, stay hydrated.
