Here is what I read for a blessing for the MFT students graduating this year:
Good evening, MFT Students-this is a big night for all of you. Congratulations. I am proud of each one of you and it was an honor to work with you.
I have a blessing for you based upon Proverbs 16:3
which states: commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established.
Let me pray for you, your families & loved ones as you begin your journey into becoming a MFT.
Let us pray
Lord Jesus, thank you that you are here with us as we celebrate the accomplishments of these students. I pray that you will bless each one of them and their families.
Heavenly Father, I pray that in your infinite mercy, you will establish the work of these MFT Students.
Help them to commit their plans to You. Father, send your Holy Spirit to shape their plans to your will, for Your glory and for their good.
MFT students, I pray you will Trust in His sovereign purposes in your work, know that when you entrust your ways to Him, He will direct your steps with wisdom and grace.
May your hearts find joy in His plan, may your soul rest in His guidance, and your life reflect the steadfast faithfulness of the One who works all things according to the counsel of His will.
May God bless each one of you, and those whose lives are touched by your work.
