Hello! Karlee Jackson here. I am majoring in Environmental Studies with a media emphasis and getting a minor in studio art!
I am on my way to graduate this coming May! I was a transfer student from College of the Redwoods, I’ll be honest I wasn’t 100% on what I wanted to do with school but I knew I wanted to use my art to make a difference 💚
Currently I am the ENST media fellow helping to generate the Newsletter for the department, yay! Have been the publicist intern for CCAT and now helping to create a bi-weekly newsletter to keep in touch with the community. And this semester I am also working on building my portfolio, currently working on a single-use plastic pollution campaign of people living in their trash. 🗑 🧃🥡🍬
I have been involved in the student takeover of the ENST IG this past week! What an experience.

Im Klara Hernandez, an ENST student emphasizing in Appropriate Technology. 🌿

Ive based a lot of my research & projects in Cal Poly Humboldt on learning more about my country El Salvador.

My parents escaped the civil war & I was born in LA where I’ll return to after graduation. I’ve been disconnected from my culture & it’s time to unlearn & relearn.

I founded , a grassroots organizing that strives to build community around the world starting with El Salvador making social & environment impact.

My senior capstone is organizing a protest & an art exhibit for my Justice for El Salvador campaign.

Please support however you can. Many professors are giving extra credit for going, don’t be shy to reach out! 😊
