Two weeks ago, David Young from Drone Launch Learning, spent two days with us and walked/talked my drone class through the process of using RTK and GNSS capabilities to achieve centimeter accuracy on their mapping. Cade Neusehwander took it upon himself to build his own GNSS receiver. This receiver will allow him to establish ground control points for his mapping and modeling products to receive survey grade accuracy.

The lessons they are learning through our drone class are incredible.

Arab JROTC presented the flag at the AHS Volleyball game. Tonight marked a monumental evening for the volleyball team seniors. You are to be commended for a job well done and for sacrifices you’ve made. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of tonight‘s celebration.

The drone class had the opportunity to spend time with David Young, CEO of Drone Launch Learning. David’s company provides the curriculum that teaches our cadets the rules and regulations for the Part 107 FAA Certification and the Mapping and Modeling Course.

Today, David showcased the capabilities of the Matrices 4E and then spent the afternoon mapping the Sportsplex with the Matrice 4E using RTK for incredible accuracy.
