This is an amazing ministry in our community. We love how our community comes together to take care of this need.

🦃 Our 6th Annual Feeding Appomattox Thanksgiving Event is coming! 🧡

For the 6th year, we’ll be providing plated Thanksgiving meals to members of our Appomattox community on Thanksgiving Day!

We need help with:
🦃 Turkey donations
🍞 Bread & desserts
👩‍🍳 Kitchen help
🚗 Delivery drivers

Businesses & catering groups: Interested in helping provide a side dish? We’re looking for help with green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and yams! Send us a message or email [email protected].

🧡 Want to volunteer or receive a meal? Scan the QR codes on the flyer or use the sign-up links in the comments!

📅 Please sign up by November 22.

Thanksgiving is a lot more than a meal. It’s neighbors helping neighbors and our community coming together to make sure everyone has a place at the table. 🧡

Together we feed, together we grow. 🧡🦃

School starts on Thursday, August 6th for Appomattox County Public Schools. Please be considerate of the bus drivers as they are learning their routes and please watch out for the kids getting on and off the bus. Do not try to go around a stopped bus. All school buses are equipped with cameras and they can turn you in if you try to pass them while they are stopped with the stop sign out.
