It’s always funny getting professional galleries back because I’m over here making these in my messy (fully self-inflicted) single car garage that I call my “shop” and handing them off to clients 10 steps from my front door at pickup 🤪

Then the photos come back and everything looks incredibly polished and seamless, and I’m stunned!

Which honestly has way less to do with me than the insanely talented florists, planners, photographers, venues, linen companies, and vendors who bring the whole vision to life. I just love getting to play a small part in it all. 🥹

If you stopped me and asked “How’s Business?!”, here’s what I would say….

It’s going so well, but ebbing and flowing as usual. We had 0 full-service weddings in March (unheard of!) and 6 in April (my max right now). Charlotte handles all the linen from start to finish with her sewing skills and I work on everything else!

Between our online orders & printing for vendors (a current fav of mine) I really feel like we have the right amount of work without having to turn it down (a blessing from above!)

I’m only working about 14 hours a week (during nap time) and the occasional late night, plus about 4 hours of babysitters a month! It feels aligned to my other priorities in life…being present with my family 🫶🏻

These details for Kylie & Connor were so unique and fun!! I SO enjoyed playing with brown & chartreuse. The custom monogram we added throughout the signage was my favorite touch 💚 this vendor team KILLED it!!

I did something I said I’d never do…

I used a script font for something I designed 🙈

When working with my typical signage clients, I exclusively use my own hand lettering. It’s something that’s always felt important to me and a big part of what sets my work apart!!!

But this was a corporate event with a specific vision, and I chose a script that matched the Pompeii-inspired design they had already created for the event.

The world is still spinning, and honestly… I love how it turned out 😍. So I had to share a few photos from the Arizona Science Center Galaxy Gala that we had the honor of creating for.

I did the designing, but a few other fabulous people had a hand in bringing these pictured pieces to life for Gina & Kyle’s wedding day 🤍

• LINEN: Charlotte (my mom!) has always been an expert sewer and has handled our linen from day one. I truly couldn’t do this part without her. From sewing to printing, she manages the entire process start to finish. It is a skill set I am endlessly grateful for.

• TORN PAPER: I partnered with an out-of-state vendor who specializes in printing on torn paper so I don’t have to. Our printer is better suited for one-off, larger pieces, not hundreds of copies. So when I was tasked with table numbers, menus, and place cards, I knew exactly who to call.

• WAX SEALS: Mostly sourced from a talented Etsy vendor, with a few I made myself when I needed the color just right.

So grateful for talented people and for a lesson I have learned more recently, realizing I don’t have to personally do it all ✨

Our last wedding of this fall season was incredible! The sweeeeeetest couple and the best signage colors (our sage + dark olive are my FAVS). I also feel like I truly aligned with these minimal and classy designs. Seeing it all come together in these beautiful shots by makes me giddy!!!! Just beaming with happiness for Kelsey & Bradley right now 🤍
