ATAT Conference Days 4-5.

I was blessed to present again, this time talking about fundraising. Thank you to the Anton ISD school board for developing a progressive and robust fundraising guideline that I used it in my examples. Last day is stock show updates and closing session.

Ag Teacher Conference days 1-3.

I am in Corpus Christi for the annual Ag
teachers Conference. Got here Sunday night, Monday had a session about SAE projects and changes to rule. Tuesday was opening session, then area and district meetings. Wednesday included training sessions with teachers, and I actually presented with four fellow teachers about the challenges of being the only Ag teacher in a school. I have also visited with many of our vendors that support Ag Ed and FFA.

Texas FFA Convention Day 4
Kids met one of the pitchers of the Texas Tailgaters, a Banana Ball team, heard the retiring address from the Area 1 and only Laine Mulcock, and then Fun Night and voting for the state Talent winner!

Texas FFA Convention Day 3
This was a day of stamina. Three sessions, including voting for the new state officers. Workshops, specifically with Rick Elmore, an old friend who is in charge of recruitment for Catapillar in Texas. They also met Dale Brisby! Also turning in our donation for the CALF community service program.

Texas FFA Convention Day 2
Today the kids were on a scavenger hunt to build their networks with those sponsors who support FFA, and particularly us as a chapter. We finally nailed down officer shirts and then a most awesome concert by Aaron Watson!
