Our classrooms dove into an exciting week of Under the Sea learning and exploration! Through hands-on activities, sensory play, and creative art experiences, students had the opportunity to learn, imagine, and create while strengthening important developmental skills.

🦀 Toddlers

- Explored an ocean-themed sensory bin filled with textured materials and sea-inspired treasures.
- Practiced scooping, pouring, digging, and sharing with friends.
- Strengthened fine motor skills while engaging in imaginative play.

🐢 Armadillos

- Created beautiful whale artwork using paint and creative techniques.
- Explored colors, shapes, and artistic expression.
- Practiced hand-eye coordination and fine motor development while painting.

🫧 Sea Turtles

- Made ocean bubbles using recycled toilet paper rolls and paint.
- Experimented with circle stamping to create bubbly underwater scenes.
- Developed creativity, pattern recognition, and fine motor skills through process art.

🐠 From sensory exploration to ocean-inspired masterpieces, our campers had a whale of a time learning all about life beneath the sea! We can’t wait for more underwater adventures this week! 🌊💙🐙🐚

Sunday we celebrated three wonderful years of dedication, love, and hard work from Miss Alyssa! 💙

Miss Alyssa has worn many hats throughout her time at Cadence Academy, sharing her talents and caring heart in several classrooms along the way. No matter where she is, she always brings kindness, patience, and a genuine love for her students.

She is known for her excellent communication with families, her thoughtful attention to each child’s growth, and her incredible Kaymbu reports that capture all the learning, laughter, and special moments from each day. Parents can always count on Miss Alyssa to keep them connected to their child’s classroom experience.

Today, she is thriving as our Sea Turtles teacher, creating a nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn.

✨ Celebrating 24 Incredible Years of Mrs. Kelly! ✨

Today we proudly celebrate Mrs. Kelly and her amazing 24-year journey with Cadence Education! ❤️

Over the years, Mrs. Kelly has worn more hats than we can count—Assistant Director, Head of Transportation, Food Program Specialist, teacher, School Pet manager and even our unofficial school nurse. No matter the role, she approaches every responsibility with dedication, compassion, and a heart for serving others.

Her 24 years have been filled with countless memories, meaningful relationships, and lasting impacts on the students and families she has touched. Mrs. Kelly goes far beyond the walls of our school, always finding ways to support families not only during their time with us, but throughout life’s journey as well.

You can find her cheering from the sidelines at sporting events because a student asked her to come, celebrating high school graduations of children she once cared for as toddlers, and continuing to be a familiar and comforting presence for families long after they leave our doors. Her commitment to our children, families, and community is truly unmatched.

Mrs. Kelly’s dedication, kindness, and unwavering support have helped make our school feel like home for so many. The impact she has made over the last 24 years will be felt for generations to come.

Her loving and caring nature shines through in her interactions with everyone around her. Our families and students absolutely adore her, and it’s easy to see why. She always takes the time to support others, lend a helping hand, and make everyone feel welcomed and valued.

As a team member, Kaitlyn is organized, dependable, and endlessly supportive. She helps keep everything running smoothly while encouraging and uplifting those around her. She is also the creative force behind our social media presence—our Executive Assistant that helps with all things social media and usually the person behind the camera capturing the special moments that make our school so unique.
