Year 22 in the classroom. Year 4 in this particular classroom has been a joy. This years group was very low stress, fun, and up for anything. I’m going to miss them this summer, but hope they have a great one!!

Today was a good day! The wiffle ball game was a huge success in terms of fun had by all! A big thank you to AHS EMERGE class, Wellborn softball, and all the teachers, staff, administration, and students at WWHS for helping create a great memory for many!!

Another big brag post!!! I’m a proud school momma again. I LOVE seeing these kids work hard for something they want, persevering, and achieving goals. Ay’Denn worked hard this week and it paid off for him!!!

Big brag post!!! This group has worked all week on resumes and job interview skills. They killed it today. They are self proclaimed “Best Dressed” group there and multiple interviewers told me how well they responded to questions and communicated with everyone! I’m a proud school momma!!

Productive week ending with rodeo festivities.

So very proud of the hard work this girl put into passing her drivers permit test. This was one of those days that makes what we do daily worth it! Proud school momma moment!

Spring break could not have come a minute sooner, but it was a fun week. We had some community experiences while almost finishing The Wild Robot book. JSU softball game Wednesday and Stomp at OPAC today!!

Another full week! We took the trail of the Freedom riders today to wrap up Black History month after reading Night on Fire. We learned a lot about compassion, equality, and just simply about being a good human. I love hearing thoughts of complete innocence.

Lots of fun, learning, and fun with learning this week.
