Special invite this Sunday 4/26! At 1145, I am speaking for 15 mins re the known facts about of the environmental harm of data center hyperscalers - at Milan’s Earth Day Fest (just south of Ann Arbor).

And I am treating this like a paid speaking gig. Appropriate, as much of my time, energy, & skills I bring in my biz, I have given freely in this moment, bc it’s what there is for me to do. Simple as that.

It’s not only me. In Saline, small biz owners (on the down low) have given of their products and services, freely too, with gratefulness.
They aren’t happy about the Oracle OpenAI hyperscale monstrosity either, going in a few miles west of them.

Around MI many ppl who have skills, expertise, or even simply the time or $, are giving everything they have, helping each other also- in the fight against oligarchs & their AI data centers.

Every single person I’ve met in the last several months- hundreds- if they didn’t know, in 5-10 mins of listening (in good faith) also are adamantly opposed, esp the way they’re happening in our state! Insult, to injury.

Extrapolating our resources, permanently harming us, our kids, our way of life, animals, just decimating our fresh water - and ecosystems (to clean servers!! Make $$!!)

More ppl are realizing, including union members! - this has never been about AI, not about jobs either. Not permanent ones.
This is abo it power and greed/ and the false narrative that we need to respond to a need (that’s manufactured) - we need to meet the needs of this next big thing, AI.

It’s actually just basic. It’s about techbros, egos, $$, & power. Ruling over us, surveillance. Icing on the cake.
It’s about a bunch of oligarchs racing ea other in an AI bubble that’s barely a bubble, it’s so close to bursting.

That’s why ALL over the political spectrum - we are….
DONE electing ppl who take $ from utilities / corps.
DONE with secrecy, lies. NDA’s. Bills that stall. DONE acccepting failure - DTE corp utility underperforming and repeatedly charging us more, bc they can, bc they’re allowed to make more & more $.
DONE accepting ppl we entrusted to govern, to know their job, to not do it. (Recalls all over!)

The Dem Convention, thousands of us showed up to SHOW the Dem party we mean business- change.
Since they were slow to get it - this was one way we showed it. Words may not work- but when we demonstrate? Maybe they’ll start to get it? We’ll see.

Why, short story I’ll share is bc of new dark levels of govt overreach 💩 re privacy, data, and the ppl being hired to solely (using AI and all tools avail) doing mining of social media info.

All of this and other stuff too long to get into amounts to, I no longer want to be easily found, to be predictably mischaracterized by limited in accuracy, AI programming.

It’s not that I’m special or up to anything drastic, it’s a personal decision to move a boundary in.

fyi I’m still around doing things I do (mainly coaching & community endeavors.

I’m slowly changing Brabbs to Blabbs elsewhere on socials, too..and given I recently took down my website )temporarily) to put it up elsewhere not Wix, that is cooler… for a bit it might seem like I disappeared out of social media/public.
