Desiray Williams never planned to pursue a master’s degree.

Now, she’s a third-grade teacher completing her master’s in curriculum and instruction with teacher certification — and was the class speaker for CUAA’s December 2025 graduation.

Her journey to CUAA was shaped by faith, faculty mentorship, and perseverance through real adversity. One of 13 children, Desiray credits Concordia’s Christ-centered community for helping her grow into a confident educator who integrates faith into the classroom and leads with joy and resilience.
