Raoul Wallenberg lived at 308 E. Madison when he was a student at the University of Michigan. The house is now vacant. It will soon be demolished as the University prepares to build new dormitories along S. Division Street. Glimpse this connection to a heroic UM alum before it is gone forever. (See update in the comments below. The UM now plans to move the Wallenberg house to another location.)

Last week the keys to all of the campus rentals were turned over to the company that will be handling property management in the interim before the University begins construction in the S. Division Street corridor north of Hill Street. It is actually more organized than it appears, but there may be a few extra keys.
