Chicago House in the West Quad at the University of Michigan

40 years ago this Fall, I travelled to Ann Arbor for the first time as a Freshman. I was fortunate to find myself as a resident of Chicago house in West Quad. There were more residents in the house then the number of folks in the small town in Norther Michigan from which I moved: A bit of a cultural shock. I still often refect on the wonderful people that helped me adjust to being on my own in a mass of humanity of the University of Michigan. Thanks All.

its a new year, we should visit and get some current chicagoans to chat. 'course campus security would kick me out. and i probably can't walk through those narrow hallways anymore.
