🔥SoulShine EP Release today only on Bandcamp!! 🔥

We poured our love of harmony, mindfulness, healing journeys, and earnest expression into a project for people who want to live a creative lifestyle and could use encouraging messages and mantras. We hope you enjoy these 5 songs.

The SoulShine EP is a voice driven, uplifting, expansive singersongwriter project by Kyler Wilkins and Quentin Henry under the monikers Ki5 and Messieurs Swank respectively to remind us to create curiously, live mindfully, and love freely all while keeping an eye out for those we want to invite in wondrous rivers with us. It’s an invitation to seek, explore, and express. It’s a reflection of what it feels like to live outside of the safe, predictable fortresses we build around ourselves to protect us from creative, social, and professional risk.

Musically the project combines songs that originated as vocal loops on Ki5’s quintessential loop station (SoulShine, Miracles, My Heart) and some that began more as traditional singersongwriter tunes with a guitar (That Soul, Shine). Messieurs Swank brought his production magic to infuse drums, synths, and engaging sounds to elevate and further shape the journeys of each track while Ki5 laid down vocals and guitar. Aviva Match also contributed her beautiful vocals to the project on My Heart.

TODAY 1/30/26 I’m performing a Silent Disco EP RELEASE PARTY at the Ann Arbor District Library downtown on the 4th floor -
5:30pm-7:30pm with live looping music 6-7ish let’s daaaance and celebrate the trifecta MIND BODY AND SPIRIT all being out after over 4 years of making, breaking, and looping. I’ve grown a ton and am ready for the next chapter of exploration 💜 a special thanks to those who have been listening and encouraging me since SPIRIT and back to the Looking for the Sun EP days. What a ride it’s been ☀️

I can’t help but worry for today’s world as it gets scarier to live in the US. I find myself feeling hopeless at times as I watch and read and listen to what’s happening. Some things need to melt. Some people are too dangerous to be in power. Some platforms may need to eventually be left behind 👀 so while we’re here talking casually - please find ways to take care of yourself and others. Build bridges wherever you can. Practice delicious resistance. Dance when you can. Make when you can. Help when you can. Rest. Take care Again. Resist. 💜

I hope if you’re near or far you support Mind by contributing resource tickets (aka dollars), streaming like fish 🐠, showing up to shake your groove thang 🕺🏿mindfully at first then out of your mind, fully and then dance with me as I celebrate finally having Spirit, Body, and Mind out in the universe 😍

Why delay?

I thought I could finish everything production-wise by myself in the few days I had this month to solely focus on Mind and the project evolved in ways that added work as I worked. I also got a jolt ⚡️ of inspo recently and finally accepted TOO MUCH of the project simply wasn’t ready and could use some TLC.

I sometimes get frustrated with how long it takes me to create things I feel proud of. Even some of the things on this project I thought would be s i m p l e take a while to fully resonate. I’m practicing patience and choosing taking more time to release than putting something out that I immediately want to apologize for and don’t feel fully proud of. Because Screw That.

I’m gonna share teasers on da gram/book and full mixes in January on my p4tre0n. Thanks as always KiHive for keeping me reminded why I do this even when things are hard.
