Happy second to last monday (maybe the last monday if you have no finals?)!

Our *last* CLT meeeting will be held on this wednesday, 4/22, 6-8PM, above the 777 N Uni Panera! We thought about content-wise it might be too heavy to have another things. So we prepared entertainments, but in Chinese! Come and join us to learn about contemporary passtime activities. There will be a selection of games and we look to see you there!

Tired and stressed from studying for finals? Come unwind with the Society of Asian Studies Students at our upcoming Bollywood Night! Enjoy Indian snacks, decorate your hands with henna, and of course, have a great time watching a Bollywood movie! For those who are interested, stick around afterwards to discuss the movie with SASS members. It'll be a lot of fun, so don't miss out!

The festival is too deep and solemn and you all know that I am anything but deep and solemn. Thus we decided to bring back the meeting that we had last semester before the midterm! The Chinese Language Table is hosting our 7th meeting this semester on this Wednesday, 4/8, 6-7PM. We will be covering the major contemporary Chinese music genres and... learn to sing🎀?!

Come celebrate Holi with SASS! Join us for a cultural presentation on the origins and significance of the 'festival of colors', learn about traditional Indian textile arts, and enjoy catering from Taste of India! Finally, take home a colorful tie dye t-shirt, scarf or headband :D This event is open to all (feel free to bring all your friends!)

It is midterm season and half the people I know are sick. That is very sad... and that's why you need to come to the next CLT to learn about Chinese Cuisines! [?] We will be talking about major Chinese cuisine types so you can have a peace of mind next time you have to classify panda express when studying [?]

Spring rolls, noodles and banh mi? Oh, I'll be there, trust.

Come to East Quad (B834) this Wednesday at 5:30pm for SASS Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration! Make your own mini hoa mai tree (with decorations to hang on it!), learn how to play bau cua ca cop and tien len and learn more about the history of Tet! Also, try your hand at making an origami horse 🐴🐎 πŸ”₯ Crafts and food available until supplies last (so pull upppppppp!!!)

It's Valentine's Day + Lunar New Year weekend! For the sake of the poster I will just focus on Valentine's Day because... why wouldn't you want to learn how to flirt in Chinese than to say Happy New Year?

Our third CLT this semester will happen on Wednesday, 2/11, 6-7PM @777 N University Ave (the School of Information Office!)

We will also cover CNY related phrases but I am just deserately single.
