The Heroes of America’s latest addition: a new sign celebrating our incredibly knowledgeable fi****ms historian, Douglas Hinton III. Doug had been researching and documenting Civil War fi****ms for over twenty years, His knowledge of fi****ms is immense, which coincides with his professional experience as one of the gun experts at Dunham’s, in Jackson!

This is an image from one of our presentations at the Greenfield Village’s Remembrance Day event. We did that for many, many years and met thousands of visitors interested in our preservation efforts.

It was great to see so many of you today when we talked about Clara Barton. Tomorrow we discuss Battle Flags and Battlefields along with why preservation is so vital.

I can’t wait to see you this weekend for the Jackson Civil War Muster. I’ll be presenting tomorrow at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm about THE GREATEST WOMAN who ever lived.

It was my extreme pleasure yesterday to be able to again stand in the presence of the greatest BATTLE FLAG in American History: the Gettysburg Glory Flag of the 24thMichigan Infantry! This artifact of courage and honor needs to be witnessed by every citizen of its home state!
