Members of our local union remain deeply outraged by the continued retaliatory actions of the Indiana State Teachers Association and the decision to keep UniServ Directors on leave and away from the locals they are meant to serve.

UniServ Directors exist to support members, guide locals, and ensure educators have the resources and representation they deserve. When they are prevented from doing that work, it is our members who lose access to the very services we pay for with our dues.

Our educators show up for students every day. We expect our statewide organization to show up for its members with the same commitment. Continued actions that silence professional staff, undermine trust, and disrupt support for locals only deepen frustration and division within our union.

Our members deserve transparency, accountability, and the full support of the UniServ system we fund. Until that happens, we will continue to speak out.

Our union must stand with educators, not against them.
