Enrichment Classes for Individuals with Special Needs We promote lifelong learning activities for those with special needs. Our aim is focused on improving knowledge, skills, and competencies while having fun.

Many adults with Special Needs do not go to school and are unable to access enrichment classes.

We are currently accepting enrollment for our Fall 2021 Enrichment Program for Individuals with Special Needs of all ages. Classes are offered on a regular basis several days a week. Our participants focus on acquiring job skills and job placement in the community. Each session is three hours long and we offer both morning and afternoon sessions. We will be meeting at Hope Lutheran Church in Andover. Please PM or

ENABLE enrichment programs offer Peer Social Groups- Participants are matched in small groups according to profiles, and natural interests, supported by staff to facilitate peer interaction and friendships. We offer a 1-3 ratio.

Fine arts (Music and Art)- Students participate in small group experiences tailored to their individual needs and interests in the areas of music and art with the support of staff.

Sports Groups and Exercise- Students participate in small group activities, facilitated by Enable staff supporting sensory processing, motor planning, sports, skill development and team cooperation.

Vocational Work/Jobs- Students are supported to choose and perform jobs within the program environment to build a sense of ownership and competence by giving back to community. Our participants can focus on acquiring job skills and job placement in the community.

Many adults with Special Needs do not go to school and benefit from an enrichment program. Our aim is focused on improving knowledge, skills, and competencies while having fun. Socializing and making friends is an important part of our Enable Enrichment Program

Skills are required for daily life and participation in society, such as those related to self-care, transport, shopping, appropriate social behavior, assertiveness, and self-esteem, maintaining health and well-being, and financial management.
Adult learning is a vital component of Lifelong Learning and is essential for employability, social inclusion, active citizenship, and personal development. Lifelong Learning opportunities are focused on personal goals, past life experiences and promotion of positive self-esteem.
