🌟Serving with Heart at Family of Christ Chapel🌟

Last week, a few of our Foundations Christian Academy middle schoolers had the joy of serving at Family of Christ Family of Christ Chapel alongside their preschoolers! 💛

The Family of Christ staff put on a puppet show about Abraham and God’s promise to bless him, a promise as countless as the stars in the sky. ✨ While the story unfolded, our middle schoolers helped the preschoolers worship and stay focused, showing them how to sing, move, and praise.

It was a joy to watch our older students lead by example and serve the little ones with patience and kindness. 🙌

”Look up at the sky and count the stars... So shall your offspring be.” (Genesis 15:5)

Thank you to Family of Christ Chapel for welcoming us, and to our students for serving with such great hearts! 👏

🎶 Thank you, teachers!🎶

Today, a few of our teachers led worship with their beautiful singing voices and guitar playing skills, creating our first live worship at chapel, and what a blessing it was! Their voices and hearts for the Lord helped our students enter into praise.

We are so grateful for the many gifts and talents our teachers bring to Foundations Christian Academy, both in the classroom and in leading our students closer to Jesus. Thank you for serving with such joy and dedication!

“Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.” (Psalm 105:2)

We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Laura Nodo as our long-term substitute teacher for 3rd-5th grade at Foundations Christian Academy!
For three years, Mrs. Nodo has brought a brushstroke of beauty to our halls as a member of our substitute roster, and our students light up whenever she weaves her way into the day. Her spring Art Intensive is a favorite, and this past summer she trained alongside our teaching staff in the Principle Approach. Now she’ll weave that same creativity through every subject, every day until Mrs. Nelson’s return.
Our students already know and love her. Now she gets to be their teacher for the first quarter! 🖌️💛
Welcome, Mrs. Nodo. We can’t wait to see the masterpiece this year becomes! -termSub

🌟 Sunday Spotlight: Students of the Month 🌟

This year at Foundations Christian Academy, our Students of the Month recognition is centered on Wisdom drawing on the timeless truths of Proverbs to shape how we learn, lead, and live.

As we kicked off the school year, our teachers chose students who showed new leadership, growing Christian character, kindness and joy. Each classroom honored a student at our Chapel service, and we’re so proud to celebrate their achievements.

These students remind us what it looks like to live out our faith each day: treating others with grace and kindness, stepping up to lead by example, and bringing the joy of the Lord into our hallways and classrooms.

🎉Congratulations 🎉 to each of you, and thank you to the families who partner with us in raising children who love the Lord!

Stay tuned for next month’s Words of the Wise theme and the students who live it out. 💛

”A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1 (KJV)

🏅 Help us congratulate our very own Mr. Sean!

Today, he completed the Twin Cities Marathon in an incredible 3 hours and 40 minutes, beating his goal by 20 minutes! 🎉

Behind that finish-line medal are countless hours of training, hard work, and dedication. Mr. Sean, thank you for showing our Foundations students what it looks like to set a goal, put in the work, and persevere!

You inspire all of us, and your Foundations family is so proud of you. Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment! 👏💙
