For 50 years, Liberty Christian School has continued to grow and change. God has provided new buildings, new programs, new opportunities, and generations of students and families who have become part of the Liberty story.

From where we started to where we are today, it’s incredible to see how much has changed and even more meaningful to see what has remained the same: our commitment to Christ-centered education and the Liberty family.

We are so thankful for 50 years of growing, changing, and building a legacy together.

Our elementary has been having an apple-solutely amazing time.

We've celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day and went on field trips to the orchard where our students picked and tasted their very own apples.

Thank you to our families and chaperones for making it such a special couple of weeks!

What does it really mean to be transformed by Christ?

One of our students recently shared a chapel devotional on transformation, authenticity, and taking off the masks we sometimes wear. Using the story of Spider-Man and Romans 12:1–2, he challenged us to stop hiding who we are and instead allow God to work in our lives.

Transformation doesn’t happen all at once. It happens as we surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to change us.

Take a look back at the 2008 Liberty Cross Country team! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ This group of Lions helped build the history of a program that has been part of Liberty athletics for years. Now, in 2026, we’re giving cross country a fresh start with new runners, new numbers, and new momentum. It’s fun to look back at the teams who came before and we look forward to seeing what this next group will do with the opportunity. Do your best at the state meet today!

🍁 Hayrides, BBQ, games, a bonfire, and a whole lot of fun! 🍁

It was a special evening seeing our Liberty families gathered together for the Fall Festival, kids running around playing games, everyone enjoying a hayride, and ending the night around the bonfire with s'mores.

A HUGE shoutout to our Liberty Christian PTF for making it all happen! So much time and work goes on behind the scenes to pull off an event like this, and we’re so thankful for every person who helped make the night happen.

Thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, brought food, helped clean up, or simply showed up ready to have a good time. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🍂🔥

Being a 4th grade Big Buddy to one of our kindergarten students is something our students look forward as they get older! This year, we even have a few sibling pairs matched up which makes the experience even more special.

It’s a simple way for our older students to build relationships, encourage younger students, and live out what it means to be part of the Liberty family.

Middle school math is about more than numbers, equations, and remembering if a positive or negative sign carries over. It’s helping students build the habits they’ll carry far beyond the classroom—thinking critically, working through challenges, paying attention to details, and not giving up when the answer doesn’t come easily.

Our Expected Student Outcomes include Scholarship—thinking critically and pursuing excellence in learning. Math gives students a daily opportunity to practice those skills and build a foundation they’ll rely on for a lifetime.

ALUMNI HIGHLIGHT | Andrew Rosenberg, Class of 2002

For Andrew Rosenberg, Liberty was more than a school, it was home. He spent 12 years at Liberty, met his wife, Lisa, in 4th grade, and built friendships that have lasted a lifetime.

Today, Andrew is a Partner at Mercer, a global HR consulting company. He credits Liberty with giving him a strong foundation for success in college and his career.

Basketball was a big part of Andrew’s Liberty experience. His senior year, the boys’ basketball team played the first half-IHSAA schedule in Liberty’s history. This was a milestone that helped move the athletic program toward full IHSAA participation in the years that followed.

From basketball and mission trips to Costa Rica, classroom memories, and friendships that continue today, Andrew’s story reflects something we’re celebrating all year long: 50 years of family.

Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your Liberty story!
