Now Hiring: ParaEducator for New Beginnings📢

Our school needs to hire a paraeducator to be our New Beginnings room supervisor. New Beginnings is an in-school detention room designed t limit our out-of-school suspensions and to help students make better choices in the classrooms. We need someone who is patient yet firm, can work with students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and can be on their feet to assist with lunchroom supervision. We are reaching out to our families because the working conditions may be good for adults with children at home.

The workday starts at 8:50 and ends at 3:30 pm each day with a half hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks. There are no evenings or weekends, however we may have opportunities to earn extra income throughout the year.The pay has been increased and is now up to $95.18 per day which is $475.90 per week which is approximately $1,904 per month. Paraeducators receive six benefit days per year if they work a whole year, and they have free access to our ACS employee Telehealth system for their immediate families.

The Anderson Community Schools (ACS) Food Service Department has announced plans for their Summer Servings program. Free lunch is available for all children 18 and under at the Anderson High School Cafeteria during the following dates and times:

📆Monday, June 8, 2026 - Friday, July 24, 2026*

⏰Monday - Friday, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

📍Anderson High School Cafeteria (4610 S Madison Avenue, Anderson, Indiana 46013)

Meals must be eaten on site during serving times. Food can't be taken to go. Furthermore, there will be no sales of any kind available for adult/staff meals, second meals, a la carte, etc.

*With the exception of the following dates in which meals will not be served: Friday, June 19th (Juneteenth), Friday, July 3rd (4th of July), and Thursday, July 23rd (All Staff Meeting).
