Coming Soon! Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment Opens April 23, 2026
Starting kindergarten is a big milestone!
That’s why the Anchorage School District (ASD) is inviting families to take the first step through the ASD Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment process, open April 23 through May 29, then again July 15.
Is my student old enough to start kindergarten in 2026?
Pre-Enrollment will open for students born September 2, 2020 through Sept 1, 2021 for the 2026–2027 school year.
Pre-enrollment is a simple way to get started early so your family is prepared, connected, and ready to go.
Visit the ASD Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment site to learn more about required documents you’ll need to have ready to begin the process once pre-enrollment begins.
