📚✨ Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4–8, 2026 ✨📚

Hello Parents!

Next week we’re celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with a fun, fairytale-themed experience for our amazing staff—and we’d love your help adding a little extra magic! 🧚‍♀️

We’re inviting families to donate creative and thoughtful “coupons” that staff can win as prizes throughout the week. These can be simple, fun, and meaningful gestures, such as:

🍽️ A homemade meal
🍪 A batch of cookies
🚗 A car wash
☕ A coffee drop-off
🌸 Flowers from your garden
🏪 A sample or service from your family business

For example:
“I will bring you a dinner serving of my homemade pot roast next time I make it! Text me at 555-745-8812 if you win this prize! – Mrs. Jones”

Almost anything that brings a smile is perfect—or feel free to donate a small gift card if that’s easier!

If you’d like to contribute, please email Erica Maynard at [email protected] with your coupon wording by Thursday, May 7, 2026, and include the best way for the winner to contact you.

✨Help the Mears PTSA Create an Enchanted Breakfast!✨

As part of our “Once Upon a Teacher…” celebration, PTSA is planning a magical Enchanted Breakfast to honor our incredible staff during Teacher Appreciation Week and we’d love your help bringing this storybook feast to life!

We’re looking for donations of whimsical, themed treats (because who doesn’t love a good food pun?). Some fairy-tale favorites include:

🐄 “Jack’s Cow” Yogurt Bar – yogurt with fruits, granola, honey, and more
🥧 Pixie Pies – mini quiches
🍞 Fairy Toast – toast with fun spreads and sprinkle toppings
🍎 (Un)Poisoned Apples – fresh or baked apples
👑 Prince & Princess Crowns – donuts
🧁 Magic Muffins – assorted muffins
🍰 Hansel & Gretel’s Crumb Cake
🧀 Jaq & Gus Gus’s Cheeseboard
🌈 Rainbow Bagels or Bread
🥤 Fairy Fizz – sparkling drinks and juices
☕ Energy Potions – coffee bar with all the fixings
Whether you contribute a dish, supplies, or a bit of magic, every donation helps us create a memorable and meaningful celebration for our teachers.

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast We're looking to treat our teachers to a wonderful breakfast on Tuesday, May 5! Please help if you can! Breakfast donations can be dropped off at the Mears office between 8am-9am on Tuesday (or on Monday!). Thanks for helping support the teachers!
