Starting kindergarten is a big milestone!
That’s why the Anchorage School District (ASD) is inviting families to take the first step through the ASD Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment process, open April 23 through May 29, then again July 15.
Is my student old enough to start kindergarten in 2026?
Pre-Enrollment will open for students born September 2, 2020 through Sept 1, 2021 for the 2026–2027 school year.
Pre-enrollment is a simple way to get started early so your family is prepared, connected, and ready to go.

We’re looking for volunteers to host our Friday Coffee Cart during the 8:00–10:30am time frame. There is some flexibility, but the duties generally take 1.5 hours for a single volunteer, less time with more. It’s a simple and fun way to show appreciation for our amazing teachers and support staff.
