🏆🔥2026 ALASKA CHOSEN 5ON5 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS🔥🏆

Yesterday, our boys capped off an incredible offseason by being crowned the first-ever 2026 Alaska Chosen 5on5 Season Tournament Champions!

I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment paid off as they finished the season by winning 4 consecutive 5on5 tournaments in a row.

What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is that many of to our athletes had already spent four hours competing and learning at the Alaska Solstice Football Camp before heading straight to Bartlett High School to battle for the championship. No excuses! No complaints! Just work!

Not only did they bring home the tournament trophy, but they also accepted all challengers afterward with an open-invite 5on5 competition and they still continued to dominate!

A huge shoutout to all these players representing Bartlett, Service, West, Fairbanks, East, Chugiak, and Eagle River who came out and competed with pride. Much respect to our opponents for pushing us and keeping us on our toes throughout the tournament.

Most importantly, this was another opportunity for these young men to continue developing, competing, and preparing for the upcoming football season. I have no doubt that every one of these student-athletes will make an impact for their respective programs and help dominate the line of scrimmage this fall.

Congratulations, boys! Keep working. Keep growing. The season is almost here!

After an extended break due to limited team participation, Cold Front Athletics returned to action on June 6th and picked up right where we left off.

The AK Solstice Football Camp is almost here, and this isn't just another football camp...

This is Alaska Football Royalty coming together to pour into the next generation.

For three days, athletes from across the state will have the opportunity to learn from former NFL players, current and former Division I athletes, collegiate standouts, and some of the most accomplished football players Alaska has ever produced.

🏈 Learn the techniques.
🏈 Learn the fundamentals.
🏈 Learn the habits.

The same skills, drills, and football knowledge that helped Alaska athletes earn scholarships, play Division I football, and reach the professional level are being brought directly to YOU.

This camp is about more than football.

It's about showing young athletes what is possible when preparation meets opportunity.

It's about building confidence, discipline, leadership, accountability, and the mindset required to succeed both on and off the field.

The league has issued another bye for the 5’s tournament in recognition of graduation week, so we’ll be picking up right where we left off.

This is one of my preseason favorites! With All-Conference and All-State accolades already under his belt, he continues to prove why he’s a dominating force at the tackle position. His ability to adapt against whoever lines up across from him makes him a defensive line coach’s nightmare heading into the upcoming season.

Today we highlight the Beast in the East, Jathniel Pati Feagiai. Keep an eye on this giant as he continues stacking accolades with his sights set on a state championship.

❄️Keeping the wheels rolling on the far east side of town, we’d like to shine some light on another rising star in the trenches… Bartlett High sophomore freight train, Nevaeha Faaofo.❄️

Nevaeha played a huge role in helping lead Bartlett to the State Championship Finals by making an impact on both sides of the ball. Whether he’s serving pancakes on offense or closing gaps and shutting things down on defense, this student-athlete brings physicality, effort, and intensity every snap.

What makes Nevaeha special is his motor and ability to make plays in the trenches. He continues to develop into a complete trench warrior and is only scratching the surface of what he can become. You can already tell he’s returning this upcoming season with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. 💪😤💯

Expect this young man to be a dominating force in the trenches this fall. 👀🔥
