Billy Davis was a Veteran and IBEW Brother who completed su***de before his project at the American Legion could be realized. VIPER Transitions and our Veterans Committee, are going to finish the project Billy started. They would like to invite you all to come out and support the effort! All are welcome! Only licensed Journeymen and Apprentice Electricians can work on the lighting, but the rest of us can support the community, help with materials, and maybe organize a lunch! Come get involved with your union supporting our veteran community!

Veteran su***de is at the heart of what we do. We were approached about a lighting project at American Legion Post #33 earlier this year. Billy Davis had begun the initial work to make this happen, but lost his battle to the War Within before it happened. We were glad to step in and continue with the project. We partnered with the I.B.E.W. Veterans Committee from Local 1547, Endeavor Electric, and Graybar Electrical Supply to bring this all together.

Please join us as we shed light, literally, on an issue that affects everyone in our community.

*To be in compliance with State Laws, the actual demolition and installation will be performed by licensed electricians. All are welcome to come and support.

Congratulations, Brother!

Congratulations to Milwaukee Tool AJEATT Line Apprentice of the month for August, Brian Pearce!

Brian's crew identified him as an essential part of crew, an invaluable member of the small group of linemen who keep the lights on in Ketchikan.

Brian says:
"Thank you AJEATT and Alaska IBEW for giving me the opportunity to learn the best trade and be part of something bigger. It's an honor to serve my hometown of Ketchikan as part of the line crew at KPU. "

Thank you Brian!
