We hope everyone is having a great summer so far. As the end of July approaches, the UAA College Republicans are beginning to look for students who are interested in filling club cabinet positions. Currently all positions are available so if you're interested please message us.

EXCITING NEWS!!!

Americans for Prosperity Alaska is hosting a Grassroots Leadership Academy right here in Anchorage! This is a three level certification course. The first two are held in state, but for the third course, they send out activists out of state to their national headquarters in Arlington, VA to complete the final training. The course is a first-of-its-kind opportunity for folks in our state who are interested in being more strategic and effective on winning for freedom and prosperity
and limited government. The program covers everything from how to communicate convincingly about free market positions with audiences, friends and neighbors to what are the newest tools for grassroots organizing and even how the Left operates and what
can we learn from them in order to be more effective. They’ll talk about how to message effectively using social media and written articles, how to launch an issue advocacy campaign and recruit for it and more.
