Some of our College Gate Alumni stopped in wearing their graduation caps and gowns as they walked the halls to cheers from their prior teachers and our current students. Congratulations, College Gate Alumni, on your 2026 graduations!

Tuesday, MAY 19th 8:00am-2:30pm
8:15am-10:15am: Intermediate Classes and Pre-K (Colley 3rd, Mata, Lewars, Esnine, Ms. Alex, Anderson, Knox, Nuuni, Wooten, Therriault and Ronato)
10:15am-12:15pm: Lunch/Recess Rotations
12:15-2:15pm: Primary Classes (Inil, McIntyre, Jefferson, Owens, Ginalyn, Bayayok, Kim, Elliott, Avugiak 2nd, Ms. J)

Anchorage’s Yup’ik immersion program welcomes students from disaster-stricken villages It's not easy to accept 70 new students in the middle of the school year, but College Gate Elementary School in Anchorage welcomed a group of children, forced to relocate to Anchorage, after hurricane-force winds and flooding devastated coastal communities in Western Alaska.

Families! We are already booking vendors for December's Holiday Bazaar. $25 for a table with a donation needed for the silent auction. If you'd like to book your spot or have questions, please contact Beth at [email protected].

We had some special guests in the building yesterday!

So proud of our Yuraq dancers from the Yup'ik Immersion Program! They, along with some of our former kiddos from Wendler Middle School, performed at the Elders and Youth Conference this morning, and in front of a packed house! Way to go, Cougars and Rams!
