Macey earned her degree in Outdoor Studies from Alaska Pacific University and has spent time working in incredible places like Mt. Rainier National Park and Denali National Park.

Over the past six years, she has served in multiple roles at Pacific Northern Academy and now leads our Create Academy Camps, Afterschool Enrichment, and Panther Care programs.

Her passion for outdoor education and student engagement helps create meaningful experiences for our community every day!

Our very own Profe Michele Whaley was awarded "Best of Alaska" last fall and just attended the Pacific Northwest Council for Languages in Portland, OR, where she was a VIP presenter and shared PNA's amazing Comprehensible Input program! Michele has a true passion for teaching Spanish, and we are lucky to have her!

We were honored to support such an incredible evening, managing the online silent auction, handling check-in and check-out, clerking bids in real time, and bringing the energy to the room with our live auction and paddle raise.

From the first bid to the final paddle, the generosity in the room was inspiring. Events like this are a powerful reminder of what a community can accomplish together in support of its students.
