Yesterday, we celebrated the retirement of Kono Sensei. Sachiko Kono has dedicated 36 years of her career to the Sand Lake Japanese Immersion Program. We were so happy to see the MPR filled to the hallways with colleagues, current students, past students, families and close friends of Kono Sensei. A true testament to the impact she has had on so many lives. We are sad to see her go but we know she won’t be able to stay too far from her Sand Lake family.

Tonight! Please join us in celebrating Kono Sensei. If you would like, please bring a card to share your favorite memory with her.
