Anchorage schools are facing a $90 million budget shortfall
for next year. Without additional funding, schools are facing larger class sizes, fewer teachers, and significant program reductions. On April 7, Anchorage voters will have the opportunity to approve a one-time education funding that would help reduce class size increases and preserve teaching positions.
This proposal will be decided entirely by Anchorage voters.

Make a plan to vote in the spring municipal election: ballots may be mailed, dropped off, or cast in person by April 7.
