A year ago, we were living in the numbers: 960 hours of a medically induced coma. 40 days and nights on ECMO—the most aggressive life support available. A heart shocked over 100 times to combat relentless ventricular fibrillation.
Between the three balloon pump attempts and the high-stakes, aggressive ablation, the technical toll on his body was immense. But the soul? That remained untouchable.
To our family and friends: You were the auxiliary power when ours failed. Your relentless prayers, the meals that appeared when we forgot to eat, and the emotional scaffolding you built around us—you are the reason we are still standing.

as a Hallmark holiday filled with chocolates and roses, but when you’ve spent 40 days counting heartbeats on a monitor, the "heart" becomes something much more sacred.
Last Year: A celebration of romance and routine.
This Year: A celebration of survival, breath, and the miraculous rhythm of life.
The Shift: Moving from

"I am so grateful you are here.

What an incredible first-time experience. Had the absolute best mom-son bonding trip, soaking in all the spooky fun and Halloween magic at Disneyland!
Perfect mix of fun, frights, and heartfelt moments. Loved the villain treat trails, the eerie decorations, and seeing the park completely transformed.
Of course, we had to go all out with our costumes! Hands Down Carson was the hardest-working Starbucks Barista ☕️ in the park, and I was his Madame Butterfly 🦋.
From screaming on the rides, walking over 40,000 steps in a day, and of course, the handful of candy definitely added to my waistline & my Blood Sugar numbers the most magical moments was seeing his joy and sharing this adventure... my heart is so full. A core memory made! ❤️ Disneyland you Had me at BOO! Core memory made!

The word "girlfriend" is so much bigger than the space it takes up. It's an entire universe of shared secrets, inside jokes, shoulder-shaking laughter, and quiet, understanding sighs. These aren't just friends; they are the architects of your history, the witnesses to your evolution, and the keepers of stories you've long since forgotten.
The beauty of a lifetime friendship is that it's a living, breathing testament to consistency. Decades pass, fashions change, jobs come and go, loves begin and end, but the core of that bond remains. You can go months without a call, but when you finally connect, it's like no time has passed. You pick up the narrative exactly where you left off, and in that moment, the years melt away. Love You both.
