​Facing three fires in less than 24 hours—the Dove Fire, the Court Fire, and the O'Neil Fire—you have stepped up without hesitation, putting your lives on the line for our county.
​May God bless each and every one of you, keep you out of harm’s way, and protect you as you continue to protect Tuolumne County. We are so incredibly grateful for your service, courage, and sacrifice. ❤️🙏

​I’m still trying to process you and Vince pulling off an official goat rescue operation—pretty sure that makes you a certified farm legend now. 🐐😂
​Honestly, it’s been so amazing being able to spend time together with our families up here in Twain Harte and create these new memories—including getting to see our cousin Troy after 30 years! What a wild and beautiful reunion.
​Even though we’ve spent time apart in the past, I love that we’ve been able to come together through our differences and actually grow closer because of it. I’m so happy and grateful for the bond we have now and the chance to celebrate together.

I honestly don’t know how we managed to create a perfect 50/50 blend of me and your dad, but somehow we pulled it off. You got the best of both of us—which is probably why you have the absolute kindest soul and are such a respectful gentleman... though I’m still taking full credit for your excellent taste in Disney rides. 🎢🏰
Whether we are conquering Disneyland together or you are out there wheeling, dealing, and trading Pokémon cards like a literal gym leader, you always keep life exciting. Honestly, I’m just waiting for you to find a holographic Charizard rare enough to fund our next VIP Disney trip. 💸🃏

365 days of recalibrating what “impossible” means.. First and foremost 🙏 ALL GLORY TO GOD
A year ago, we were living in the numbers: 960 hours of a medically induced coma. 40 days and nights on ECMO—the most aggressive life support available. A heart shocked over 100 times to combat relentless ventricular fibrillation.
Between the three balloon pump attempts and the high-stakes, aggressive ablation, the technical toll on his body was immense. But the soul? That remained untouchable.
To our family and friends: You were the auxiliary power when ours failed. Your relentless prayers, the meals that appeared when we forgot to eat, and the emotional scaffolding you built around us—you are the reason we are still standing.

This year, the perspective has shifted entirely.
We often treat Valentine’s Day
as a Hallmark holiday filled with chocolates and roses, but when you’ve spent 40 days counting heartbeats on a monitor, the "heart" becomes something much more sacred.
Last Year: A celebration of romance and routine.
This Year: A celebration of survival, breath, and the miraculous rhythm of life.
The Shift: Moving from
