For many families, music lessons begin with a simple hope: that your child feels happy and excited to learn - and return! 💛

In our Piano or Voice Explorers classes, kids enjoy 50 minutes of singing or playing, movement, rhythm, and music activities in small structured groups led by a caring teachers.

These classes create a steady rhythm kids look forward to each week and parents feel good about choosing. 🎶

I have an interesting perspective from where I’ve sat over many, many recitals.

Over the years, sitting in the same place, I’ve noticed so many small things.

The way a young student has to hoist themselves up to the piano bench.

The feet that dangle because they don’t quite reach the floor yet. Then years later, those same feet are strong and steady, planted with confidence.

I notice the bows. The ones that are strong and steady and the ones that come in a rush, even though we’ve practiced it so many times!

I see the performance adrenaline moving fast. And the ones who can’t wait to return to the comfort of their seat because maybe it didn’t go the way they hoped.

Through all of this, and over all these years, musicians are being made. But not only musicians. People. People who are learning the courage to share and perform. People who are building trust and connection.

Someday they won’t remember being this brave, but their teachers will. Their parents will.

All that to say, this is a beautiful and humbling place to sit.♥️
