Saints for Times of Trouble Where to Turn During the Pandemic and Amid the Stresses of Life

Today is Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children. On this important day, take the opportunity to join with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and others in prayer that our country will realize that there is no true respect for life when the most vulnerable are denied the opportunity to be born.

The disgraceful violence at the US Capitol this week should make each of us reflect on how ignorance, intolerance and hatred can strike at principles we hold most dear. As Catholics, we have to oppose such acts of hatred wherever they are found and promote the love of God and neighbor that Christ told us were the greatest commandments of all. I have attached the comments of the US Catholic Bishops. Pray that through the intercession of the Blessed Mother peace will come to our nation.
